Rise of the Aggrocrag by the Metahumans
Rise of the Aggrocrag by the Metahumans is an alternative dance album containing various world music influences including baroque pop, breakbeat, dubstep, electro house, jazz poetry, neo-psychedelia, rock and roll, salsa, spoken word, synthpop, trance, western classical, and yoruba music. The album chronicles the main character’s arrival into the electronic music subculture and is centered around his ambivalence towards existing in this newfound world. His trip journeys through themes of alienation, anxiety, drug and alcohol abuse, love, and self-doubt.
